PROJECT CASE / HONG KONG CLIENT / ULTRASOUND THERAPY

Single-Probe Ultrasound Therapy Device Development

A product-development project covering the complete device, from the product solution and electronics to prototypes, testing support and manufacturing.

1 MHzUltrasound frequency
ONE PROBE
Two output frequencies
3 MHzUltrasound frequency

CLIENT REQUIREMENT

The client requirement.

This project is a therapeutic ultrasound device for treatment, not diagnostic ultrasound imaging. A Hong Kong client requested an ultrasound therapy device that could provide both 1 MHz and 3 MHz therapeutic ultrasound output through a single probe. Nuopuen took responsibility for the complete product development and manufacturing scope.

This case describes the confirmed project requirement and work scope. It does not specify whether the frequencies operate simultaneously or in separate modes.

ENGINEERING & INTERFACE DETAILS

From probe characterization to device settings.

Project photographs showing the probe measurement setup and the device operating interface.

04 / Device operating settingsThe touchscreen shows the RM settings panel marked “1MH”, alongside timing and other control settings.

The project requirement covers 1 MHz and 3 MHz through one probe. The analyzer scan and the interface photograph show different aspects of development; they are not a pair of 1 MHz and 3 MHz operating-screen captures. Select either image to inspect the original.

From development to the client’s launch.

Nuopuen supported the client in completing independent third-party testing associated with the client’s FDA-related requirements. The client subsequently launched the product.

The scope reported here is testing support and product launch. No FDA approval or clearance claim is made in this case.

What this project demonstrates.

01

System integration

A project linking the ultrasound product requirement with hardware, embedded software, protocols and mechanical design.

02

Development continuity

A scope extending from product planning and prototyping into PCBA and finished-device manufacturing.

03

Testing coordination

Support for the client’s third-party testing work as part of the route to product launch.
